Nearly Wordless Wednesday
If it’s Wednesday, it must Nearly Wordless Wednesday! Macro mum edition. I buy flowers from the grocery store to practice my macro (and editing) skills on. That’s not weird. It’s practical! I love shooting macro.
I’m still here. Last week was spring break so I took some time off everything and tried to relax. Failed miserably. But at least I tried.
The house hunting may be over for us. I’m thrilled. No more disgusting college boys. And the house we picked has excellent lighting. It’s important! It needs updating but not major structural work. I am thrilled about this. Chris is less than excited. Of course. We’ll I’ll have to resist the urge to buy all the things because we’re in a new space and first examine how we’ll really living in it.
In our first house, I made the mistake of buying a gorgeous wood dining table and set of chairs. It was modern and square and bar height. I imagined us having dinner parties and such things. None of those things happen. We are just not formal dinner kind of people. And that’s ok. The table and chairs went to guy who was designing a bar in house. I don’t want to make the same mistake this time around. Slow and steady wins the race. Even if every part of me is yearning to tear it all down and rebuild it new and pretty.
